Miko conosciuto anche come Don Miko o Miko Mission, pseudonimo di Pier Michele Bozzetti (Alessandria 22 Giugno 1945), è un cantautore italiano.
Inizia a cantare molto giovane, incidendo per svariate etichette canzoni in italiano, prima di passare alla musica dance.
All’inizio degli anni 80 scoperto dal produttore Tony Carrasco e in condivisione con la SAAR, proprietaria dell’etichetta Blow Up, decise di cambiare genere, poiché alla fine degli anni ’70 vi era un scarso interesse per i vari cantautori italiani che proponevano musica da discoteca.
Don Miko si adattò facilmente a queste nuove esigenze, cambiò genere e nome d’arte, diventando Miko Mission e raggiungendo i primi posti della classifica dei dischi più venduti in Italia e all’estero.

Nel 1984 e 1985 con l’aiuto di Tony Carrasco che si occupava della produzione e della versione remix, e Graziano Pegoraro per i testi e gli arraggiamenti, ha inciso con la Blow Up i primi grandi successi How old are you (Blow Up Disco, BU0032) e The World is you (Blow Up Disco, BU0039). In poco tempo grazie a un accordo di licenza della “SAAR/Blow UP” con la Zyx Records in Germania riuscì a raggiungere le vette delle classifiche tedesche e in seguito nel resto d’europa, vendendo milioni di dischi. (Francia/Spagna/Benelux/Scandinavia/Austria/Svizzera/Grecia/ Portogallo/Polonia e altri paesi dell’est), in seguito divennero anche una Hit nei mercati internazionali (Giappone,/Asia/America latina/America del Nord).

Popularly Known As Don Miko or Miko Mission, Pier Michele Bozzetti (born in Alexandriaon June the 22nd, 1945) is a popular Italian singer. He started singing at a very young age, recording music in Italian, before moving on to international success with dance music. At the beginning of the 80s Miko Mission was discovered by Record Producer Tony Carrasco and brought Miko Mission to SAAR Records, owner of the dance music label Blow Up. Miko Mission decided to change genre, because at the end of the 70s there was a lack of interest in Italian singers who proposed disco music. Don Miko easily adapted to these new requirements, becoming Miko Mission and reaching the top of the charts in Italy and abroad. In 1984 and 1985, with the help of Tony Carrasco who was in charge of production and remixing, along with Graziano Pegoraro who arranged and co-wrote the lyrics.
Miko Mission recorded and released with Blow Up Records the label’s first great success “How old are you”(Blow Up Disco, BU0032) and the following 2nd single “The World is You” (Blow Up Disco, BU0039). In a short time, thanks to a licensing agreement "SAAR / Blow UP" with Zyx Records in Germany , Miko Mission managed to reach the top of the charts in Germany and later throughout the rest of Europe and the world, selling millions of records. (France / Spain / Benelux / Scandinavia / Austria / Switzerland / Greece / Portugal / Poland and other Eastern European countries), Miko Mission also became successful in international markets (Japan / Asia / Latin America / North America).
